Hill Climb Racing 2 — Crazy Tracks and Fun Off-Road Racing

car

Hill Climb Racing 2 from Finnish studio Fingersoft continues the tradition of physical arcade driving, where the main enemy is not your rivals, but the laws of physics. The project is aimed at fans of extreme driving, offering multiplayer competitions in the world of Climb Canyon. The sequel significantly expands on the original, adding visual improvements, more tracks, cars, and addictive online modes.

Description

The main goal is to overcome the hills without flipping your vehicle upside down. Speed balance is critical: driving too fast will cause you to fly off the track, while driving too slowly will make it impossible to climb the hills. Successful jumps earn you points for time in the air, which can be spent on car upgrades.

Behind the wheel is Bill Newton, a stubborn and charismatic driver who strives to conquer the highest hills of Climb Canyon. Multiplayer races allow you to compete with players of similar skill levels. Participate in multiplayer events, climb the leaderboards, and team up to earn seasonal rewards. Race victories increase the number of trophies, unlocking new maps, vehicles, and higher-level leagues.

Pros

Excellent physics model. Each car feels different thanks to realistic weight, inertia, and center of gravity behavior. Driving requires a delicate balance between gas and brakes, especially when landing from high altitudes.

Rich content. Adventure Mode offers exploration of diverse landscapes from challenging hills to urban landscapes. Each environment presents its own obstacles and opportunities for stunts.

Active community. The track editing tool allows you to get creative by creating routes to publish worldwide. A constant stream of user-generated content ensures the longevity of the project.

Cons

Aggressive monetization. Progress without in-game purchases is difficult due to the slow accumulation of currency through normal gameplay. Mystery boxes often contain parts for unavailable vehicles, taking up space in the inventory.

Transport imbalance. Certain models such as dune buggies, monster trucks, and sport bikes dominate the rankings, making other options uncompetitive. Developers are not addressing the issue of the superiority of certain vehicles.

Limited customization. Most easily obtainable characters are male, making it difficult to create diverse images without additional investment.

Technical issues. Users report crashes when trying to obtain rewards and forced app restarts. Some cups do not work correctly, kicking players out of matches.
